We work collaboratively, honouring your pace and perspective. As an AuDHD, queer, and cross-cultural practitioner, my background navigating different aspects of identity helps me connect with the nuances of individual experience. I live on the spectrum of human difference. This means whether you are navigating the heavy cost of masking neurodivergence, or unpicking the unique complexities of queer and cross-cultural realities, I am here to understand your raw, lived experience exactly as you feel it. This creates a foundation of trust where you can explore difficult feelings, gain self-awareness, and move towards healing and growth. My long-term yoga practice also supports my ability to remain present and grounded during our sessions.
Person-Centred Counselling
Person-Centred Counselling operates on the core principle that individuals have inherent resources for self-understanding and constructive change. It is a non-directive therapy where you, the client, lead the exploration at your own pace within a supportive environment.
The effectiveness of this approach relies on the therapist cultivating a specific environment characterised by three core conditions, essentially accurately sensing your feelings, valuing you without judgment, and at the same time being genuine and transparent.
This specific type of trusting therapeutic relationship is designed to foster psychological safety, enabling deeper self-exploration, increased self-acceptance, and empowerment to find solutions aligned with your own values.
